Our Mission

At Recovery Refuge, our mission is to provide a Christ-centered refuge for those seeking freedom from addiction and a renewed identity in Jesus Christ. We offer safe and supportive discipleship homes where men are surrounded by love, encouragement, and accountability. Through discipleship and community, we walk alongside each man as he grows in his relationship with the Lord, discovers his identity in Him, and rebuilds his life on a firm foundation of faith.

A Silent Epidemic

The fatal addiction crisis is often misunderstood in affluent communities. It’s thought to be an inner-city problem, a problem for the impoverished, or a problem outside the confines of our neighborhoods in Sumner County much less our homes. This could not be any farther from the truth.

In Sumner County Every 48hrs someone overdoses, 2020.

A Savior’s Solution

The Recovery Refuge is a redemptive recovery treatment center for men who have been ensnared by the silent epidemic. It is a bridge from the Church and a bridge back to the Church. Every Sunday in Sumner County and across the nation Church members come forward seeking help for their addictions. Most will be ushered off to a Christ-less behavioral and medication-driven treatment program.

Through relational discipleship, soul care counseling, and much more we teach men to establish their identity in Christ, their life around scripture, and their emotional and spiritually health in the promises of God. Helping them to establish strong accountability and a healthy community ready to receive them upon their return. We do this through a healthy partnership with their sending Church, local mentors, and recovery meetings across Sumner County.
